Hi all
As many of you will know 13 to 19 May is National Volunteers Week (NVW), with the theme of 'Thanks a Million'.
Volunteers are very special people. Here at Greenslopes Private we have over 350 such very special who give of their time to touch the lives of our patients, visitors and staff across the hospital every day.
So this week we held a ceremony and lunch to say thank you to them formally. I wanted to take this opportunity to share with you a great little photo from our ceremony that showcases our wonderful volunteers. I do hope you enjoy it.

RSL Donates $1.75million to research at Greenslopes
The Queensland Branch of the RSL and Mates4Mates has donated $1.75 million to the Gallipoli Medical Research Foundation (GMRF) based at Greneslopes Private Hospital to fund a three year proect into post traumatic stress disorder. The project is a world first study that will look at the genetic links between PTSD and other serious illnesses such as chronic liver and heart disease.
