Health Promoting Hospital

Greenslopes Private Hospital is recognised by the World Health Organisation (WHO) as a Health Promoting Hospital, having been a member of the WHO International Network for Health Promoting Hospitals since 2005. GPH has an ongoing commitment to health promotion including an annual calendar of events designed for the broader hospital community as well as the general public. 

The hospital promotes a number of health awareness weeks throughout the year including Heart Week, Australian Organ Donor Awareness Week, Men’s Health Week, Drug & Alcohol Week, and Bowel Cancer Awareness Week.
