Allied Health
In keeping with Greenslopes Private Hospital's emphasis on multidisciplinary patient care, inpatient allied health services are provided by a highly competent team of allied health professionals.
This team incorporates physiotherapists, psychologists, dietitians, occupational therapists, radiographers, speech pathologists and social work practitioners providing an extensive range of services to patients.
Cardiac Rehabilitation
In addition to acute cardiac care services, Greenslopes Private Hospital offers a multidisciplinary Cardiac Rehabilitation service that includes all three phases of cardiac rehabilitation. The Phase 2 & 3 services are conducted in our Wellness Centre.
The Healthy Hearts cardiac rehabilitation program at Greenslopes Private Hospital helps people to get back to their normal activities and hobbies. Cardiac rehabilitation is for people who have heart disease and assists them to return to their previous lifestyle and activities through exercise and education.

Breast Care Nurse
Greenslopes Private Hospital is pleased to be able to offer breast cancer patients access to our Breast Care Nurse who can provide emotional support and information to patients and their families.
The Breast Care Nurse can:
• Provide additional information about treatment, surgery and recovery
• Provide emotional support
• Provide a link to community services
• Provide a link to allied health services
• Explain medical terms
• Discuss surgical procedures
• Provide information about prosthesis and bra fittings
• Help understand side effects of systemic breast cancer treatments such as hair loss and premature menopause
