Patients & nurses on ward verandah. When the laundry came in to operation it was under control of Warrant Officer RA Packman. At the time there was only one washing machine installed. When the laundry became fully established, the personnel worked 24 hours a day from Monday morning to Saturday night in shirts and did the laundry for all Army hospital establishments in the Brisbane area.
