 GP Events
The Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) Quality Assurance and Continuing Professional Development Program (QA & CPD) includes the promotion of GP participation in effective and efficient quality assurance and continuing professional development by encouraging and identifying high quality activities for GP's.
Ramsay Health Care has achieved both Endorsed Provider (Category 2) and Accredited Provider (Category 1) status with the RACGP.
As part of our ongoing commitment to GP Education, Greenslopes Private Hospital has a GP Liaison Officer, Dr Sue Gray, who works in conjunction with the Marketing Department and the GP Education Committee.
In her role of GP Liaison Officer at Greenslopes, Dr Gray identifies issues in communication between general practitioners and the Hospital and looks at innovative ways of involving GP's in Hospital activities. Dr Gray also chairs the GP Education Committee which, along with the Marketing Department, is responsible for organising GP education events such as evening symposia and weekend conferences.
