Due to a number of changes it has been necessary to review the operation of our courtesy bus services that are operated in conjunction with the RSL Sub Branches. Three of the existing services will cease operation.
- Northside West Service run in conjunction with Gaythorne RSL Sub Branch has ceased operation in October
- Wynnum Cleveland Service in conjunction with Wynnum RSL Sub Branch will run its last service on 12 December
- Southside Service in conjunction with Greenbank RSL Sub Branch will cease operation at the end of November
We wish to acknowledge the dedication of the RSL Sub Branch volunteers, including the coordinators of each service and their team of drivers who have made these services possible over the years. The bus services have provided a wonderful service to their local communities in transporting patients and their families and visitors to the hospital.
Services continuing in 2009
The Kedron-Wavell RSL Sub Branch will continue to run the Northside Service Monday to Friday and The Sherwood-Indooroopilly RSL Sub Branch will continue to run the Southside West Service Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
