Greenslopes Private Hospital is an acute care hospital providing an extensive range of inpatient, outpatient and emergency services. With 580 beds, Greenslopes is the largest private hospital in the nation and Australia’s only recognised private teaching hospital.

The Hospital offers a full range of medical and surgical services, including: cardiology; cardiothoracic surgery; day chemotherapy; dermatology; ear, nose and throat surgery; endocrinology; fertility, gastroenterology;general medicine, general surgery, geriatrice medicine, gynaecology; haematology; hypertension; infectious diseases; nephrology; neurology; neurosurgery; oncology; ophthalmology; oral and maxillofacial surgery; orthopaedics; pain medicine, plastic surgery; psychiatry; rehabilitation; respiratory medicine; sleep medicine, rheumatology; urology; and vascular surgery.

We provide Resident Medical Officer cover 24 hours, 7 days a week, working in liaison with our Visiting Medical Officers to ensure the best possible care. We also offer a complete range of diagnostic healthcare facilities on-site, along with comprehensive pathology, radiology, pharmacy and allied health services.

Our private Emergency Centre is operated by qualified staff 24 hours, 7 days a week.

Located close to the city centre, the hospital is easily reached by public transport.
