Since June 2013, Dr Yang has been the full time plastic surgeon staff specialist at the Princess Alexandra (PA) Hospital where he has been actively involved in the Melanoma and the Head and Neck Units. After graduating with his medical degree from the University of NSW in 2000, Dr Yang returned home to Brisbane and worked as an intern at the Mater Hospital. He spent one year as a general surgical PHO at Logan and Nambour hospitals and two years as a general surgical training registrar at Toowoomba, Rockhampton and Ipswich Hospitals. His training in plastic surgery was at the PA Hospital, the Royal Brisbane, Mater and Greenslopes Private Hospital. After obtaining his fellowship in plastic surgery in 2011, Dr Yang spent a year working as the overseas fellow at the Oxford University Hospitals, UK where he gained more experience in microsurgery, sarcoma, melanoma, breast and upper limb surgery. Dr Fleser graduated with the Bachelor of Medicine in Europe and became an Internal Medicine Specialist before moving to Australia in 2002. She was involved in research projects regarding B cell lymphoproliferative disorders at Queensland Institute of Medical Research. That was followed by postgraduate physician training and specialist training in clinical and laboratory haematology at both Mater and Princess Alexandra Hospitals. Dr Fleser’s interests include haematological problems in pregnancy, coagulation disorders, diagnostic and management of haematological malignancies with the focus on lymphoma and myeloma. His practice encompasses the assessment and treatment of the full spectrum of vascular conditions, incorporating both arterial and venous disease. Dr Quinn grew up in Brisbane and attended the University of Queensland. After completing a degree in Physiotherapy he undertook a postgraduate Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery, graduating with Honours. He completed his surgical training throughout Queensland and Victoria and was awarded Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in Vascular Surgery. He holds appointments as a consultant Vascular Surgeon at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital and The Prince Charles Hospital and is a Senior Lecturer at the University of Queensland. Dr Quinn gained sub-specialist training in advanced endovascular techniques while working at St Vincent’s and the Epworth in Hospitals in Melbourne.
