Medibank Private insured patients admitted to Greenslopes Private Hospital now have access to an onsite Medibank Support Representative during their hospital stay.

This free service is designed to make a patient’s hospital stay as stress-free as possible by providing information on their health cover entitlements, including that it is the right level of cover to suit their current needs and lifestyle.

The experienced representatives are equipped to assist with any questions a patient may have such as:

• Entitlements as a private patient
  
• Medical benefits covered
  
• Medibank Private’s GapCover Scheme for specialists
  
• Claiming procedures
  
• Restricted services (where applicable)
  
• Waiting periods
  
• Out-of-pocket expenses.

The support service will also help link patients to resources and programs after discharge where appropriate, such as the betterhealth programs.
