FAQs

If you have not yet confirmed your obstetrician you can still complete the online booking form for Greenslopes Private Hospital and simply indicate TO BE CONFIRMED in the Obstetrician name field. We recommend you refer to our list of obstetricians on the website and make contact as soon as possible to secure your booking. Once you have confirmed your obstetrician please enter your booking online via the patient portal and update your booking with your obstetrician’s details.

Greenslopes Private Hospital can deliver babies if the pregnancy is 32 weeks or more. Mothers who go into labour prior to 32 weeks will be transferred to the Mater Mothers’ hospital where the baby can be cared for in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.

A standard stay for vaginal birth is three to four nights, or four to five nights for a caesarean section.

We offer a personalised tour of the facilities. Bookings are essential. Please contact  Maternity Reception on 07 3394 7859 to arrange an appointment. A tour is included If you are booked in to our Childbirth Education classes.
