Emergency Centre:
the patient journey
greenslopesprivate.com.au | 5
The Greenslopes Emergency Centre
is providing iPads and newspapers to
people while they wait for treatment
as part of a wider plan to maximise the
patient experience.
Practice Manager Rae Morris said it was
important to constantly review every
aspect of the service in order to maintain
high standards of care and meet patients’
expectations.
“We always strive to go above and
beyond for our patients because they
are at the heart of everything we do.
For example, patients enjoy being able to
watch videos or play games on the iPads
we loan them while they are waiting to
see a doctor,” said Ms Morris.
The 24/7 Emergency Centre allows
patients to be seen quickly and to access
a wide range of tests, specialists and
treatments.
The facility also offers the best value for
money at a private hospital in Brisbane.
“Coming to an emergency department
can sometimes be overwhelming so we
also encourage patients and visitors to
ask us any questions they may have.”
