8 | GPH News – February 2018 Baby First Aid and CPR classes will be
on offer once a month at Greenslopes
Private Hospital, following a successful
trial of the service.
Parents will have the chance to learn
life-saving skills from expert paediatric
nurses and midwives who specialise in
children’s health.
11 CPR Kids classes will be held in 2018
following positive feedback about the
initial two sessions in 2017.
The three hour sessions focus on
emergency situations including choking,
drowning, fever, burns, head injuries,
and more.
“We are pleased to offer this course so
parents feel they have the knowledge
and tools to respond to any emergency
situations they may face in the future,”
said Terry McLaren, Director of Clinical
Services at Greenslopes Private Hospital.
The CPR and first aid sessions cost $90
per person + GST and will be held at
Greenslopes Private Hospital.
