Greenslopes Maternity
delivers precious prize to
boxing champ Jeff Horn
WBO World Welterweight champion Jeff Horn now
has one extra special supporter in his corner, after his
wife Jo gave birth to their daughter at Greenslopes
Private Hospital.
Isabelle Horn weighed
3.58kg when
she was delivered by
obstetrician
Dr Brad Robinson.
Dr Robinson, who
is an avid sports
follower and lifelong
boxing fan, said
managing this
pregnancy gave him
one of the most rewarding
experiences of his career.
“When I first met Jo and Jeff, I was
certainly aware that Jeff was Australia's
next great boxer on the rise, so I was
more than a little star-struck.”

“I always looked forward to their
antenatal visits so I could probe Jeff on
the latest developments in his career,
fight-preparations, and anything and
everything boxing-related. And you
can imagine that the first visit after his
famous Suncorp Stadium victory over
Manny Pacquiao was a lot longer than
the usual time I’d allocate!”
"It really was a dream come true for me
to manage their pregnancy. And while
Jeff is the WBO World Welterweight
belt-holder, Jo was definitely the
champion after going through what
she did to carry and then deliver
little Isabelle.”
