Ms Went said, “I am looking forward

Chris Went was appointed in 2017 as

hospital employing more than 2000

she was CEO of St Andrew’s Ipswich
Private Hospital.
Recent statistics showed women made
up 79% of the workforce at Greenslopes
Private Hospital, which gave staff
extra reason to celebrate International
Women’s Day this year.
The figures revealed females accounted
for 88.7% of Registered Nurses,
89.5% of Enrolled Nurses, and 92%
of Clinical Nurses.
Other examples of roles predominantly
occupied by women included:
72% of catering attendants, 76% of
physiotherapists, and 64% of HIS
administrators.
There were approximately 180 different
job classifications across the hospital.
