Dr Peter Hadjipetrou is a graduate of the University of Queensland in Medicine and holds a Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of Physicians in Cardiology. Dr Hadjipetrou underwent a two year clinical/research fellowship in Cardiac and Vascular Intervention at the Lahey Clinic in Boston in 1996-1998.
He has an interest in elective and acute coronary angiography and angioplasty, percutaneous closure of ASD/PFO, renal artery stenting, peripheral vascular interventions, aortic and mitral valvuloplasty and TAVI.
His commitment to medicine extends beyond clinical work; he is a prolific researcher with numerous publications and a frequent speaker at national and international conferences, advocating for innovation in cardiology. His passion for improving patient care is deeply rooted in the lessons of resilience and service he learned from his parents.
