Henry Dalziel Renal Dialysis Unit
In 2004 the dialysis unit at Greenslopes Private Hospital was named after World War One VC recipient Henry Dalziel. Mr Dalziel was awarded the VC following his actions single-handedly attacking and capturing a German machine gun post at Hamel Wood on 4 July 1918.
Greenslopes Private Hospital Renal Dialysis Unit provides tailored haemodialysis treatments for the newly diagnosed pre-dialysis patients to those living with advanced stage chronic kidney disease.
All patients receiving treatment in the Unit are under the care of a Renal Physician who is supported by a highly specialised team of renal nurses. The multi-disciplinary approach to patient management aims to promote quality of life and achieve best therapeutic outcomes.
The Henry Dalziel Renal Unit has 28 haemodialysis stations and is open six days a week offering both morning and afternoon appointments for patient convenience. Individual TVs and free WIFI are available to enable a friendly and relaxed environment for patients.
