Dr Shi Yi Goo undergraduate training was at the University of Queensland in pharmacy. After completion, she started working as a pharmacist while doing post-graduate training at the University of Queensland School of Medicine. Subsequently, Dr Shi Yi Goo completed her residency and Cardiology training at the Princess Alexandra and the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital. During her Cardiology training, she also undertook a Masters of Philosophy (MPhil) researching subclinical coronary artery disease.
Dr Shi Yi Goo has completed a two-year echocardiography and cardiac imaging fellowship with Hearts 1st and has now joined the team, where she practices cardiology with a interests in multi-modality cardiac imaging (echocardiography, cardiac CT and MRI).
