Dr Melissa McKenzie joined the Greenslopes Obstetrics and Gynaecology group in February 2014. She completed her medical degree with honours at the University of Queensland in 2005. Her specialty training has been in a variety of hospitals in both metropolitan and regional Queensland. Dr McKenzie has an interest in general obstetrics and gynaecology. She has spent three years in tertiary hospitals to pursue her interests in high-risk patients and, in particular, obstetrics. She was awarded her RANZCOG fellowship in February 2014 and is a full-time specialist at Greenslopes Private Hospital.
