Dr Wang graduated from University of Queensland with honours, subsequently completed his specialist training at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s hospital. He is a fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians and the Royal College of Pathologists of Australasia. He is heavily involved in teaching as senior lecturer with the University of Queensland as well as physician training. In addition he engages in clinical research at the Princess Alexandra hospital.
Dr Tzu-yang Wang is a locally trained clinical and laboratory haematologist who specialises in the diagnosis and management of a range malignant and non-malignant blood disorders which include abnormal full blood counts including cytopenias, acute/chronic leukaemia, lymphoma, myeloma, myelodysplasia, abnormal lymphadenopathy, myeloproliferative disorders, haemostasis and thrombosis, iron deficiency/overload & haemoglobinopathies.
Dr Wang is fluent in both English and Mandarin.
