Interest: Hepato-biliary, pancreatic and liver transplant. Interests in surgery for all diseases of the liver, bile ducts, pancreas and complex hernia repairs. Excess skin removal post bariatric surgery for abdomen and thighs.

A/Prof Kellee Slater is a General Surgeon at the Princess Alexandra Hospital where she is the Director of one of Australia's first Abdominal Wall Reconstruction Units. She works in private practice at Greenslopes Private Hospital. A/Prof Slater is also a Hepatobiliary specialist and was a member of the QLD Liver Transplant Service for 20 years. Her primary focus is now on complex hernias and abdominal wall reconstruction. A/Prof Slater did her training in QLD and Colorado, USA. She now trains surgeons from all over the country in the principles of Abdominal Wall Reconstruction. In 2014, A/Prof Slater had a book published entitled, "How to Do a Liver Transplant: Stories from My Surgical Life" and has a YouTube Channel, "Kellee Slater: The Surgeon Not the Surfer".
