Interests: Neonatology (the acute and ongoing care of newborn and premature babies) and the management of children with complex needs.

Diana enjoys working with babies, children, and their families. Her paediatric expertise is broad and is complimented by a holistic approach to her patients’ care, including all physical, behavioural and psychological aspects of growth and development.

Diana's special interests are neonatology (the acute and ongoing care of newborn and premature babies) and the management of children with complex needs.  

Diana was awarded her Medical degree in 2005 from the University of Queensland and received her Fellowship in General Paediatrics with the Royal Australasian College of Physicians in 2015. As part of this, she has gained experience in multiple paediatric sub-specialties and was employed in senior registrar positions in the paediatric rehabilitation services, Nambour and Gympie Hospitals and neonatal intensive care from 2012-15, reflecting her core interest areas.
Most recently Diana has been extensively involved in the state-wide neonatal retrieval service, helping to improve the standard of care provided to newborn and premature babies across South Queensland.

As a mother herself, Diana understands the many challenges brought on by parenting and supports her patients' families with advice and information regarding developmental milestones, general and preventative health, safety, nutrition, fitness and more.

Diana speaks three languages, English, Chinese and Bahasa Malaysia.
