Dr Paul Belt has been a Visiting Medical Officer at Greenslopes Private Hospital since 2005. He is also a Visiting Medical Officer at the Princess Alexandra Hospital, Brisbane Private Hospital and Pacific Day Surgery (Fortitude Valley). Dr Belt was trained at the Princess Alexandra, Royal Brisbane and Mater Hospitals in Queensland. He has also undertaken a Fellowship in Plastic Surgery in Oxfordand London in the UK.
Dr Belt's interests are cosmetic and reconstructive surgery of the breast, reconstructive microsurgery, body contouring (including post bariatric surgery and labiaplasty), facial aesthetic surgery, rhinoplasty and the management of skin malignancies (including sentinel lymph node biopsy), otoplasty, gynaecomastia surgery, and MACS facelift. Dr Belt also performs regular reconstructive sessions for dermatologists (post Mohs' surgery).
He is the past President of the Queensland Chapter of the Australian Society of Plastic Surgery. He is a reviewer for the Journal of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery, and has been the scientific convenor for the Plastic Surgery Congress.
