Dr Timothy Edwards graduated from University of Queensland in 2008. He completed his Respiratory and Sleep Medicine training at the Princess Alexandra Hospital and Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital. Dr Edwards completed a Lung Cancer fellowship at the University Hospital of South Manchester, UK and Interventional Pulmonology fellowship at Glenfield Hospital, Leicester, UK. He has an interest in lung cancer, lung nodules, bronchoscopy, EBUS and pleural disease.
Dr Edwards is a Senior Lecturer at the University of Queensland and has published several articles in the field of lung cancer and bronchoscopy. He has presented at national and international conferences. He also holds an appointment at the Princess Alexandra Hospital and is actively involved in teaching of respiratory medicine trainees, junior doctors and medical students.
Dr Edwards is a reporting physician for SleepCare and has experience in complex sleep disordered breathing .He is available for consultation in all aspects of respiratory and sleep medicine including COPD, asthma and interstitial lung disease.
