Dr Aravi (Aravinthan) Loganathan is Specialist Rheumatologist with extensive clinical, academic and research experience. He graduated from James Cook University in 2013 and completed his training at Logan and Princess Alexandra Hospitals. In 2021, Dr Aravi earned his Fellowship in Rheumatology (FRACP) and received the Ken Muirden Overseas Training Fellowship to pursue research and work and at the Royal National Hospital for Rheumatic Diseases (RNHRD) in the UK.
Dr Aravi is involved in international research and has published on psoriatic arthritis, gout and myositis. He is passionate about medical education and is the Director of Clinical Training for Rheumatology in Queensland and a Senior Lecturer at the University of Queensland. He also holds a public appointment at Logan Hospital and specialises in the treatment of a wide range of rheumatological conditions including inflammatory arthritis, connective tissue diseases and gout.
In his free time, he enjoys cricket, rugby, soccer and spending time with his family in Brisbane where he grew up.
