Dr Rhee is an urological and transplant surgeon. He obtained his MBBS, FRACS (Urol) and PhD in the field of advanced genito-urinary oncology. He was the research and clinical fellow at Princess Alexandra Hospital from 2014-2016 in the field of urology and transplantation with publications in several journals. He has current research grants from numerous funding bodies including NHMRC, MRFF, PA Research Foundation, Gallipoli Research Foundation and private companies. He supervises higher degree students through the University of Queensland, and holds a number of international, national and state leadership positions within TSANZ, VSEAC, OTA, RACS and USANZ.
His research interests include immunotherapy, molecular imaging, surgical frailty, and urological and transplant medicine technology.
